Kitten pictures listed below!
Here you will find our pictures of kittens available for adoption.
Available Kitten Status-- We will mark each kitten as available, adopted, pending adoption (family has asked us to hold kitten for final decision), waiting for deposit (family has decided on kitten and deposit is not yet received). (If a family decides they want a kitten that has a pending status, a deposit must be received before I can mark the kitten as adopted).
This will let you know as an interested family, the status of our kittens. I do update my site as soon as the status changes, so if you are looking at a certain kitten, be sure to check back often for available status.
"Should We Choose a boy or Girl?" This question is asked more than any other! There are many confusing answers to this question, and just as many different opinions! Here is our answer. Both males are females are wonderful companions--there is no difference between a neutered male or spayed female cat. If you have them spayed/neutered at 4 or 5 months of age--before the hormones come in, you will have a perfect companion. The most common complaint about male cats is the territorial marking, or spraying in the house. This is completely eliminated by neutering at a young age. The male cat will be a better companion and not driven by the instinct to spray or roam. The female doesn't have the hormones to cause heat cycles, which also eliminates the territorial behaviors, fear of pregnancy, and messes associated with an un-spayed female. So you ask which sex do I prefer? I say either! Choose the PERSONALITY that fits with your family! You will have a wonderful, loyal, and happy fur kid if you spay or neuter!
What color is my Ragdoll kitten?
Ragdolls are a breed of cat that are born white in color. The colors come in as they mature, and do not complete until they are about 2 years old. The mink and solid varieties of Ragdolls are born with color.
Usually at about 2 weeks old, pointed Ragdolls will start showing their colors, where lilacs and chocolates will start developing around 4 weeks old. We will list the colors of our kittens as they develop---and they will be priced accordingly.
Kitten Prices:
We sell our kittens with two different contracts; Pet or Show. The cost of your Ragdoll will depend entirely upon what type of contract--or quality you prefer. Most families want to adopt a family pet, and that is when the Pet Contract applies. Our Show Contract is for persons interested in showing or possibly breeding. Pet Contract kittens adoption fees are less than Show Contract, but this does not mean in any way you are adopting a 'less quality' kitten. Pet Contract kittens are just as healthy and beautiful as show and breeder quality, the only difference is they have markings that would disqualify them from show rings. Many times our Pet Contract families actually acquire Show Quality kittens, but prefer to have a family pet rather than show. Due to our focus on finding 'families' for our kittens rather than 'breeding and show' owners, we do tend to place most kittens in Pet Homes first, as we feel the Ragdoll is best suited in a loving environment and the center of it's new family's attention!
Both pet and show quality kittens are sold with a spay/neuter contract. Owners must provide proof of operation before 4 months of age before we will release the TICA registration papers. We also sell our kittens with a no declaw contract as well. Breeder quality are sold with full breeding rights to approved catteries.
